For basketball, it looks like West Salem has adopted the Carolina Panthers logo on WisHoops, but I don't think they actually sell anything with the logo:

Dominican High School Knights. Colors are Green, White, and Black. Alma mater of Shannon Smith, Andy Kowske, Ray Nixon, JR Blount. I was a manager on the State Champion basketball team with Shannon. Shannon's sister was in my class and Damon Key's brother was in my class.

 

Football coach Joe Koch (before going to Oak Creek High School) led us to our only football championship while I was there. I don't think we've had a winning season since he left.

 

I've got my 15 year reunion this weekend and I'm interested to see what people look like and how they're doing.

 

I also went to Dominican and they did go the playoffs with a 6-3 record in '99. Baseball team was really good in '98 too. After 2000, the only thing worth mentioning was the basketball teams and a few notable track and field stars.

Hey Brian, I was in the same confirence(sp). I have many a memory of the Grove, I had a few dates with girls from the Grove, Fair, Played in a no hitter there(well actually it was Yorkville but against Union Grove)

 

I was a Waterford Wolverine(green & white). I dont think their is anyone famous who graduated from Waterford Union High.

union grove's up against the building tennis courts were difficult for me to adjust to. At least thats how I explain my terrible matches there.

 

As far as famous waterford grads: Kurt Douer(sp?) punted for the Oregon Ducks at least one year, and everyone who knows me knows who I am.

I can't think of any famous alumni. One guy played basketball at Northwestern. My brother wrestled at Nebraska with Rulan Gartner. That's about it.
