I, too, saw us with a 5-1 lead last time I had looked. It's very unnerving. It's almost literally like we got a nice little lead against the league's worst team, then realized we would be over .500 if we won this game, freaked out, and suddenly did everything we possibly could to lose it. Bad pitching? Check. Errors? Check. Squandering scoring opportunities? Check. This would be a horrible time for things to fall apart especially with the opportunity to gain 1 game today on the Cards, Reds, and Astros.

Still 3 outs to turn it around...get it DONE!!!!

This is a sucky, sucky loss. Are we scared of being above .500?

We have a realistic chance of losing the series to the Royals tommorow. That is sad, especially with the chance we had to really get back in the race.

Can't win 'em all.

We always get to .500 and seemingly get scared of moving over that mark. Always an uphill battle. Hurts even more that Cincy, STL, and HOU all lost tonight. Oh well, let's hope Helling is due for a good outing tomorrow.

Better win tomorow after this mega choke job. Just pisses me off.

Helling on the mound so the bat's will need to score about 9 runs to win.

The only plus of the game was Gonzalez. And the pen didn't have to pitch besides Shouse.

I don't mind getting outplayed by a bad team. There isn't any shame in losing then. Tonight was not one of those games. The Royals played Royals baseball but the Brewers gave them the game in the 4th. It hurts.

Gotta go after them tomorrow. Salvage this series.

That game was Exhibit A as to why they have to trade Carlos Lee. A team that loses a 5-1 lead against the worst team in baseball courtesy of 2 walks, 2 errors, and 2 hits, and then cannot score a single run in 5 more innings is not going anywhere near the playoffs. Use Carlos's value to improve your pitching and your defense for the next couple years, whether directly through the trade or throgh FA in the offseason, or both. You simply will never consistently score enough runs to overcome the poor pitching and defense we have seen from this team.

Well this one bites....hope Billy gets well. I heard he was a little sick. I am too.

I dont know if Yost benched Hall or not but the bar must be raised and boundaries set for our young Professionals.

You need to be taught how to win against teams you should beat and not give games away like this.

Get well Billy we need you. And we also need to make the rountine play and get the wins we know we should get.

It's a process...we will get there. You can bank on it.
