Is Carlos Villanueva still on the team? Last time I checked, he was doing pretty good....why didn't Ned bring him in to relieve GG instead of Wise? Or to relieve Wise? That's one I don't get.

I think Carlos V is pencilled in the starting rotation - as an alternative to Helling starting games.

I agree. Good managers like Larussa and Torre have been known to make that call when they feel it is what needs to be done to win. It is great to see Yost knew what needed to be done to win the game today.
