My brother played hockey for the University of Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves. His number was 20. I eventually needed to shorten the name for some reason and settled on cwolf. That was something like 10 years ago and I've been using it since.

The '12' is my favorite number.

Lets see.. I used to work for a guy who got the nickname Admiral Dumb(donkey). I made a mistake at work, and was titled "Sergent Clue Less" since I made a stupid mistake. EFNet IRC had a 9 character limit back in the day, so I adopted SgtClueLs. Use it for just about everything... that and Poonix.

Can I still call you "Two Brewers" in my head, even though I now know the horrible truth?
Absolutely! (I hate T-Wo Brewers - and that was never the intention)

The rest of the story is that someone realized that T-Wo spelt Two. So when the J-Lo joke ended - it just became two. So it really is "Two Brewers", but the Two kinda morphed in an odd way.

When I first got on teh internets way back when one of the first things I did was to sign up for a Yahoo Mail account. Being a fan of the band Hanoi Rocks, I thought it would be a cool name to use. I've used it since then for other various message boards and things.

"Gyp Casino (born as Jesper Sporre on May 7, 1961) is a Swedish rock drummer. He was the original drummer for Hanoi Rocks. He was replaced by Razzle in 1982. Although he does not appear on the cover for Self Destruction Blues, Casino does play on the record."

RoseBowlMtg: Is the name of my mortgage company but it started out while going to school in Madison before and after 80 when we weren't that good. When passing girls up to the top of the bleachers was fun and allowed. When sneaking in blackberry brandy was pretty easy, when we would yell with the team down by 40: We came to see the band!: The yell RoseBowl came out anytime we did score or look like we had a chance to. RoseBowl is the ultimate and we lived it.

I've been known as "Big Dan" most of my adult life. I lost about 180 pounds, so now I'm "Not So Big Dan" (although I still have some work to do).

Wow, congrats. As someone who is currently trying to lose a decent amount of wieght, i know how hard it is. Keep up the good fight.

In my younger days i really loved the Misfits and Danzig was their singer. That just shows how long this site has been around and grown because i joined near when it first started and that's when i used to use danzig as my log in name for message boards like ESPN.

I used to work at Warehouse Specialist, Inc. and on the tags for the orders we picked would print my name as WESROB. Everyone called me that and it's a little easier than typing Robert Westmoreland all the time. The 1 is for originality, not to be confused with all thoe other WESROB's out there!

I've always been a fan of the crafty plumber masquerading as a baseball player (DaBush), and also I always wanted to get the shirt that Kumar wears in "H&K go to White Castle," which has something similar to my username.

Mine dates back to my college days.

At my college every year we'd have an arbor day, where the Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors would essentially clean up the campus for four hours (the Seniors got the day off). In order to keep things orderly, some of the Juniors were appointed "Strawbosses" and were responsible for various groups of underclassmen. There were often jokes about these Juniors abusing their power, and being harsh overlords over the students put under them. And so my friends and I started a website playing off of the idea of "strawboss abuse". The website offered a number of suggestions for the Freshman about how to go about reacting to their strawboss, it included a forum for those involved in strawboss abuse, it had pictures of those who were abused by their strawboss, T-shirts, posters etc.

The stick figure icon that we used (found on the main page, and in different poses under the posters link) was a play off a T-shirt that had been made a year earlier by a group of people. Their picture was a stick figure standing with a rake, they had the words "who knows" on there, because very few people knew which day Arbor day would fall on until that day arrived - so it would be a big mystery. We obviously edited the stick figure image a bit to fit the theme of our website/support group. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

So that, is why I use "strawbossisevil"

I picked it as an AOL screen-name years and years ago because I liked the sound of the phrase. I'm not sure why, and now I kinda hate it, or at least find it boring, but I've had it for so long I just go with it. I use it and my avatar almost everywhere online but it probably fits best on brewerfan.net given the baseball association.
