I can't believe how much I hate the idea of stealing third base. Hart, you're freakin' fast, you'll probably score on a hit to the outfield anyway. There's like a 2% chance of a wild pitch/passed ball/balk, it's not worth the risk man.

There was only one out.

But Kendall was up. I believe Hart was just trying to do his best to force Yost to pull Suppan

The Reds announcers noted that Homer does a terrible job at keeping runners close. Although that was a pretty close play at 3rd. A double steal most likely came from the dugout, no?

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

Yeah, I have to imagine that a double steal sign came from the dugout -- by all accounts, they were both off and running at the same time. It was an unneccesary risk, but I guess I'm fine with it since it turned out okay and the Reds' catchers have been struggling all series long.

Hopefully Suppan get get through the 7th or so without giving up any more runs.

Adam Dunn has to have grounded out to 2nd at least 6 times this series. I don't remember the last series against the Brewers where he didn't have at least 6 HRs/BBs/Ks. Bush and Suppan have had him baffled apparently.

It makes the most sense to try and steal third with only one out so you can score on a sac fly or slow grounder, and it definitely makes sense to double steal with Cameron to avoid the double play with Mr. Double Play himself, Jason Kendall, especially with Suppan on deck. To me that made perfect sense and turned out just perfect.

Whoever enters the stats on the scrolling graphic at the top of the screen must've had the same English teacher as Tom Haudricourt, Mike Cameron has scored 2 run's today.

I was just going to post the same thing. Not just a typo either - consitent with walk's and run's.
