where is everybody? did that many people really lose interest after the cubs series? c'mon! two months left, 4 games back.

I don't know about other people, but I stopped following the game closely when they were cruising through those middle innings. It was nice to kind of passively follow a game (in a good way) for once. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I wasn't able to watch tonight, but it looks like I missed a great game. But you're telling me the Brewers won a game AND Suppan pitched well?

Well, one of those things happened for sure. The other is debatable.

How is it debatable? I admit I missed the game last night (partly for my own sanity and partly because I was out with friends)...but looking at the line he pitched 7 innings, and gave up only 5 hits and 3 walks, and of course no runs. Sounds pretty decent to me.

The three walks all came in the same inning as he loaded the bases with a 6 run lead on walks. This moment ruined his start IMO, even though he got out of it without any damage.

How did it ruin the whole start if the Braves failed to score anyway? I think you're being too judgmental.

Suppan pitched poorly-he was missing his spots all game. Now he also pitched terribly against the Cubs in his first start and merged unscathed, but that doesn't mean he pitched really well.
