Forget what happened in the Cubs series. 5 games is doable, very doable, and if the Brewers can't make that up, theres always the wild card. Lots of baseball left folks! Perfect guy to start a winning streak.........Ok, the last sentence was a stretch, but these aint your daddy's Braves. GO CREW!

I sort of feel like my years of baseball viewing and analyzing point to the Brewers being on a frustrating slump for the next couple weeks. But lets stay positive and say things go back to being swell. This thing just got interesting. There's a lot of season left.

The Braves either have half their core traded or on the DL. We're facing a very crappy left hander. Good mix to turn it around, my main worry is they are mentally carrying the Cubs series with them on ths road trip. Hopefully that is not the case.

A week ago, many were convinced that the Brewers' great success on road trip would carry over to the home stand. Every game is a new beginning.

A nice win tonight could do a lo heal the fans' battered hearts (yes, me included). Couple that with a loss from the Cubs and/or Cards...

I have 0 confidence that we can put up runs against Chuck James tonight. For that matter, I also have 0 confidence that Jeff Suppan can have a good outing for once. I'll believe it when I see it. Good luck to the Brewers. They need a W.
