Jose Guillen wants out of Kansas City

How bad is it when you describe your situation as "Living in hell in Kansas City". Jose Guiller feels KC let him down by not building a better team for him, but he was also on that 2005 LA Angels team that won the west, but he was not a part of it because he was suspended by manager Mike Scioscia in September after a confrontation. He was quoted afterwards saying "It hurts me so much," Guillen says. "You know why? Because people have no idea what happened last year. They don't know the real truth. When I go home (to the Dominican Republic), sometimes I cry a lot because people on the street, they think I'm an ass. Like, they think I'm the worst guy in baseball. And they don't know the truth." Now he supposedly has problems with Trey Hillman. He signed a 3 year $36 million contract with Kansas City in the off season and says he is willing to eat some of it to help get him out of there. I just do not see how anyone would be willing to take this guy on anymore. This is just the latest in a series of issues he has had in baseball. I am in now way advocating, suggesting, or implying the Brewers should be looking at Guillen.

Guillen has been pretty terrible this year (home and road). I doubt any team is eager to take on that contract at this point. The Royals would probably have to pick up half of it in order to get any interest at all.

Jose Guillen is like eating at Old Country Buffet. At first, it seems like a good idea... but after a while, you want to puke.

From my experience, you are speaking of the wrong end for the discharge. Ironically Guillen seems to have the same problem only he has diarrhea of the mouth when it comes to teams he plays on.

He has been one of the "under-rated" nutjobs in baseball for a long time.

Fortunately, Guillen and Milton Bradley have never been on the same team at the same time. They both did stints in Oakland, but seperately.

Is there really anyone that couldn't see this coming when he signed there?

"The most successful (people) know that performance over the long haul is what counts. If you can seize the day, great. But never forget that there are days yet to come."
