I still gotta good feeling about this game if we can keep it at 1 run here, we got the middle comin up next inning, it seems if we can get someone on in front of Prince something good will happen, most likely though Giants would bring in Kline to face Prince, which wouldnt really be that bad considering Prince's knack for making hitting lefty specialists

The 'pen is having a rough night... not like that is of any surprise.

 

With Clark and Barnwell in the game now we've taken a significant hit offensively. Hopefully Salad Tongs can work out of this and give the offense a chance.

Hart should've been hitting for Jenks versus Kline. Jenks is now a blistering .121 versus southpaws this season.

 

Horrid.

 

 

Looked like Carlos was a bit peeved in that at bat too. I wonder if he knows what Jenks is hitting against lefties.

Only logical basis for not PH is that should the Brewers get the bases loaded an 2 outs, you have to PH for Wise with either Gwynn or Rivera, assuming you didn't pinch run Gwynn for Millar. So that would leave you very thin on the bench for extra innings.

 

But, I would take that scenario a 100 times over Barnwell leading off in the bottom of the 9th down 1 run.
