I believe both Jim Powell and Brian Anderson confirmed that Parra was ineligible for ROTY because of something trivial like 2 days of service time.

Yeah, he's definitely under the 50-inning limit, but the thing that might trip him up is the part about being on the 25-man roster for more than 45 days. I don't know how many days he was on the roster last year, but it wouldn't surprise me if he was over the limit by a few days.

According to Brewerfan, Manny was called up on July 16, 2007, and he was placed on the disabled list on August 31, 2007. Assuming both July 16 and August 31 count, that'd be 47 days. If neither counted, he'd be making it under the wire. Recent media reports indicate that at least one of those two days count.
