Not this summer but probably within the next couple years. When we do go back it would be great to have a beer and celebrate, by then we hope, a championship. Last time I was in Italy, Rome I think, I saw a guy walking down the street in a Green Bay Packers jacket. I thought he was another tourist from Wisconsin but he was actually a Italian Packer fan.
There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.

Just got back from Italy in May for a two week vacation. My wife and I went to Rome, Florence, Venice, Lake Como and Milan. It was a great time and I would gladly go back. If it was not for getting sick in Rome and missing the coliseum it would have been perfect.

kalle8, how did you become a Brewers fan?

Also, is your avatar picture Brandon Webb?

i became a brewer fan for..the beer! it started slow but since 2004 and with mlb.tv it became much worse. now i am an addict, i don't know anyone else in italy who is a brewers fan (actually i know only a few who are BASEBALL fans) most of the guys are yankees or red sox fan, but i like to be one of a kind!

i never thought we can be into a playoff run but now i m so exited (and sleepless because the games are in the middle of the night).

my avatar is cirillo striking out counsell last year!

My wife's mostly Italian and hopes to go back to the homeland someday, so hopefully it'll happen sometime. Right now we're not in a position economically.

BTW kalle8, that is one of the best avatars ever!

I just got back from my sister's wedding in Germany. A couple of the groom's friends were going to Cinque Terre for a few days after the wedding. It sounds amazing. The only bad part about the trip was that I missed the Brewers huge winning streak.

i hope this isn't getting too off-topic, but maybe this is a good place to post an "I live here, come visit me" comment.

i live in Victoria, Texas. of course summer is a rough time here to have a vacation, but i'd definitely enjoy talking to some Brewers fans if they happened to be down here.

We're planning a trip to Europe next year. Problem is, she really wants to go to England, while I want to visit Italy. Then to complicate things even more, I would maybe want to travel from Italy through Austria and Switzerland up into Germany.

So, we go back and forth. We like to see the tourist stuff when we travel, so we also like to just hang around ang get a feel for an area. If we extend the trip to all these countries I fear we'll lose out on that. To be continued...
