Maybe its just a baseball life of disappointment, but i'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Amazing run this team is on.

Either way on paper CC going against a guy who just gave up 6 runs in 3 innings against the padres looks like a good matchup for the crew.

KEEP IT GOING!

Let's keep it going!

Story time!!!

Well my puppy died about 2 months ago and we finally got the heart to get another one.

We got her last Friday....Since then...

5-0!

Did the Sabathia trade also light a fire under Billy?

He did mention Billy a few times in his opening interviews.

I don't know, probably just a coincidence.

This is insane. I'm so giddy over this team that I can't sleep right now. Instead of trying to sleep, I'm coming on here at 3 a.m. I love the Brewers.

I never imagined this series going this way, I figured we'd be lucky to steal one of the first two. Now I'm worried for the last two games. Paranoia is setting in, I'm not used to this.

I keep telling myself that CC and Sheets aren't going to win all the rest of their games, so I am preparing myself for a letdown at some point.

Let's just keep postponing that, though.

I'm dissapointed I have to miss this game because I have a game tonight but I will be checking my phone. I really hope we beat them up tonight with a dominate performance by CC and lots of hits. That way they will be crushed for tomorrow. Like Yost said, CC and Sheets are really feeding off each other and I think we could get some great stuff from them.

For some reason I seem to remember hearing that they were friends from somewhere but I can't honestly say where I heard it or what it was all about.

A little worried the Brewers might get baited into a bean brawl tonight. Hall really ticked off some Cards fans down here. Some talk he stared and spit toward the Cards dugout both nights. I hope the Brewers learned their lesson from last year.

EDIT: I saw both homers and don't see what the big deal is. Of course, I didn't get the Astros-Braun stuff last year either.

With Sabathia on the mound I would tend to doubt that.

As dumb as some think Yost is, he's not going to risk getting Sabathia ejected in stupid bean ball brawl.

If the Cards have a problem with what Billy did, they shouldn't have given him those pitches to crush. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I'm going to have to watch the MLB.tv replays tonight when I get home to check this out, but I don't recall Bill doing this.

Even still, if they want to bean Billy, fine. Give him one in the thigh, ribs or something and be done with it. None of this crap where a pitcher will throw at a guys head and begin a bean-ball fest. I would bet that Yost and the Brewers in general realize these games are wayyy to key to get into a bean-ball match and get ejected (same for the Cardinals players).

One ball in the side wouldn't make me upset, as long as they don't get carried away.

That being said, GO CREW! Let's hope for another strong start from CC, and a little offense to boot.

I'm going to the game tonight. You want to know how to get a great seat for a virtually sold-out game, less than 24 hours before game time? Move to a new city where you don't know anybody at all; have a toddler and no child care options save yourself and your wife; and therefore buy only one ticket to said virtually sold-out game -- that's how. My parental duties left me with one shot at the series, and I picked Sabathia. Go Crew!

Greg.

What? Some Cards fans over on that forum are saying we are bushleague because we untuck our jersies right after the game is over. Talk about overreacting. I think they are just a little angry we took the first two games the way we did..
