Still tied for first. The thousandth of a percentage point or whatever the Cubs are ahead of the Brewers pretty much gets rounded off. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Here's to hoping the Cubs don't know what to do with a division lead and give it right back if they do get sole possession.

The Cubs have to face El Duque, John Maine, and Tom Glavine in their series with the Mets, and didn't seem to take the pressure of getting to first place too well today against the Phillies. I think the Cubs are going to have just as much trouble against the Mets as the Brewers did.

I dont' know what is going to happen from here on out but no team has played more over their heads than the Cubs the past 2 months, that team is nowhere near as good as their record over that span and it will eventually catch up to them.

I totally agree, they are going to have fits with the Mets just as we did.

Hart, Braun and Fielder are all hitting. Now maybe they can do it at the same time. Then well be fine. Gallardo is pitching today. Thats always a good thing.

With the mets having to face El Duque, John Maine, and Tom Glavine i would hope that the Mets could win 2 out of 3. I am really a big fan of Maine and usually switch over to watch that kid pitch. I really hope Glavine gets his 300th aganst the cubs. The Mets to me looked like they were coming out of there troubles during are series which can only mean a huge off. explosion aganst the cubs. Could be high scoring as it's going to be hot and the winds should be blowing out.. GO METS!

The Muzak system at work is playing Corey Hart's "Never Surrender".......and I won't. Ever.

Amen to that! Earlier this season I heard that classic at Woodman's West. It was the best part of my shopping trip.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Ever since the "hamstring" incident, Johnny Estrada has been hitting well and running(!) the bases.

Folks, we won a series against the best offense in the NL, we came back to win one of the games, and we gained a game on the Cubs in this series thanks to the smoking hot Mets. I would say, despite the tough loss today, the Philly series was success!

I am still in agony after today, but at least the Cubs lost. I am still trying to decide whether to be happy that we're still a game up in the division, or mad that we blew a chance to be 2 up in the division.
