The Oriole's Adam Loewen has quit pitching due to his second elbow injury in two years. He is going to become an outfielder. Apparently, he is out of options so the Orioles are unsure how they can send him down and still keep him. Interesting stuff.....He was a good hitter in college (according to the article on the Oriole's web stite). Wonder what his prospect status will be. Im rooting for him and Rocco Baldelli to make it back to the bigs.
