So Sabathia is pretty good. 68 pitches through 6? C'mon.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

I would look better than Vizquel up there.

I have never seen a hitter look that lost up there.

I wish I would be able to block out the month old version of Billy Hall like that http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I didn't think Bochy looked too mad when he got thrown out of the game but now I think I know how the conversation went with Jim Wolf. "Jim throw me the heck out of this game. My team sucks. Most of my team doesn't have a clue. My pitcher on the mound is pretty good but you clearly are going to squeeze him all night so we have no chance. And by the way, my SS is washed up and the rest of my team is on the can."

If Yost had done what the Giants just did with Cain, having him bat after 101 pitches, then lifting him after he couldn't record an out the next inning, this entire board would be calling for his head, myself included.

Where is all the Rickie bashing now? On base twice tonight, involved in 2 of the 3 runs scored.

On base thrice tonight - the questionable call at first, the base hit up the middle, and a walk.

Any chance they go back and change the scoring on Hardy's play to make this a no hit bid just for fun.

I thought I heard Powell say they'd done that but I must have been hearing things. Gameday still shows a hit.
