The "whatever happened to ____" thread

I thought after watching the oldtimers softball game last night it might be a good idea to have a thread on players that use to play for the brewers. Wikipedia.org does a great job and has things on lots of guys. Sorry to start you guys with a downer but I was wondering on William Suero for some reason and here it is. I'll try post these from time to time if people are interested. If not, no big deal.

Well that's sad. You made me look up Ernie Riles though. Don't know what happened to him but, he did hit the 10,000th home run in Giants franchise history. That's pretty cool. And nats utility guy Willie Harris is his nephew.

Julio Machado....ugh but by my math he should be freed this year...

"He also pitched a better-than-average curveball and a slider. Machado was certainly good enough to pitch for a few more years. However, he is a footnote in the ledger of baseball history. Spending the 1991 off-season in his homeland, Machado was arrested for murder being accused of shooting a woman following an auto accident. He was convicted and, following appeals, he was sentenced to 12 years in 1996.

Feel free to move this if it doesn't fit in this topic but I started looking up the 92 team just to remind me of guys I'd be curious about what they are up to... Interesting to me atleast, Paul Molitor was 2nd on that team in home runs with 12. Greg Vaughn led the team with 23. RBI leader was Molitor with 89. I was a kid at the time but the pitching on that team was great. I didn't remember Bill Wegman to be a 3.20 ERA guy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1992_Milwaukee_Brewers_season

Wegman was the ultimate "no run support" pitcher.
