Natal looks neat. I just wonder if MS can actually make it do what they promised.

If you haven't seen the E3 keynotes of all the major console companies, check them out Pretty neat

I look forward to, L4D:2, Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2. The rest of the games I look forward to are years away, D3, Fallout 4...

Anyone see this new device for Xbox 360 that's coming out? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oACt9R9z37U
If this is real, my video game days are coming to an end, even though it is really awesome. Part of the reason I like video games is that I can relax and be lazy while I play them. I am physically active so I don't need video games to be my workout. Pretty soon games will be so realistic that they won't be fun to play...for example I am a sub-par golfer in real life so if you really had to be a good golfer for video games, what's the point in playing a golf game?

It is real, but I have no doubt that "regular" games will still exist....in the year three thousannnnnnnd

January of 2010 I believe. EBGames.com has it listed as 12/31/09. They are probably wrong. I personally still count spring as part of the fall videogame lineup since it is the baseball offseason.

I blame Wang.

Well its Spring but Spring lasts until June 21. EA likely will want it out before then but March would seem much more likely than January given Dragon Age comes out in November meaning that most of Bioware will be on QA for that title starting in September.

As long as it comes out before baseball starts. I think you are right that it will come out around March. I think that is when the last one came out. Around the time I was getting bored of all the games that came out in the fall.

My video game days have slowed dramatically, but I'm in love with the demo for Fight Night 4 that releases at the end of this month.

I also noticed today there's a demo on the 360 for The Bigs 2 that features Prince. I set it up to download, but haven't played it yet.

Anyone playing Ghostbusters?

I've heard pretty amazing things.

A friend of mine that I trust on these things has played it on his PS3. He agrees with what you've heard.

I'm so glad they took the time to do that game right. Phew!

My brother had Ghostbusters (on PC) on pre-order. He picked it up on Tuesday. He completed the game sometime on Wednesday. That's $30 well spent.

He does say it has "some" replayability due to different difficulty levels but there is no multiplayer on PC. He also stated that it was a pretty solid game, although there is a bug with the installer, I guess.

edit: by the way, I love the fact that this thread has survived for a year. It would kind of fun to still read this thread in a few more years to see which games that we were pining for were hits or duds and how we felt about them before they came out.

From what I heard, they used the story for the third Ghostbusters movie that never got made due to red tape, etc.

So it's not just the voice talent -- the story for the game was at least largely written/conceived by Ramis & Akroyd.

Too Human - dud

Fable 2 - loved it awesome

Gears of War 2 - awesome again

Star Wars the Force Unleashed - meh, not good, not bad, cool story

Lord of the Rings : Conquest - sucked hard

Halo Wars - ok, fun

Fallout 3 - didn't even look at it, turned out to be the best of the group, still playing it

I've been waiting for Crysis 2 forever, hopefully the March release date holds, it would be an awesome from me to me birthday present.

I rented Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and Section 8 over the weekend. I didn't like Section 8. Maybe I didn't play it enough to learn how all the guns worked, but the campaign wasn't very fun. The reviews said to buy it for the multiplayer and I honestly have little interest in multiplayer games. I liked Ultimate Alliance but don't think it is worth $60. My oldest son and I each played through the game once on Saturday. I admit there is a lot more to do and collect that we didn't. I will probably wait until it drops in price though. I haven't been keeping up on the Marvel storylines so it was cool to see the game cover the Superhuman Registration Act.
