7/10/08 Rockies (JDLR) at Brewers (Bush), 1:05 PM CT

crewcrazy

The Brewers (50-41) look for the split against the Rockies (39-53) this afternoon at The Keg. The game will not be televised, so that means a day of following on GameDay and listening to Bob and Jim. Looks to be a nice day outside, so maybe it's a chance to get a little sun while listening to the Brew Crew. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

It'll be this guy:

Dave Bush, RHP

4-8, 4.74 ERA

53 K/26 BB

Against this strangely familiar guy:

Jorge de la Rosa, LHP

3-4, 6.58 ERA

55 K/22 BB

Lineup, per TH:

2B Rickie Weeks

SS J.J. Hardy

LF Ryan Braun

1B Prince Fielder

RF Corey Hart

3B Bill Hall

CF Gabe Kapler

C Mike Rivera

RHP Dave Bush

Haudricourt also mentions that Corey Hart remains in a deadlock with David Wright for the final NL roster spot. We have until 4 PM today to get The Hitman into the All-Star Game...keep voting. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Go Brewers -- let's secure the split against George of the Rose. Please?

Even though last night was a disappointing loss, I'd settle for a split and a 5-2 homestand to this point. The way the Crew typically limps into the break, any sort of homestand above .500 would be fantastic.

Hopefully it becomes 8-2 by the end.

Kinda glad there's no TV today. I need a break from these guys today. It's been nothing but Brewers mania for me since late last week when the C.C. trade talks started heating up. Ahh heck, who am I kidding? I'll probably still listen to the game.

I hear you..Some guy came up to me in one of my classes and was like did you hear the Brewers signed CC. (This was the day after the fact, and not to mention that he didn't get "signed") People that know nothing of baseball know that this was a big big trade made and it is all over the place even in central Wisconsin.
