Wow, I'm shocked. I take a look at the box score for the game and see Jenkins K'd? What??? I think I'm more surprised when he doesn't strikeout.

 

I can see his excuse for it: "Well, if Ned played me more I would be seeing the baseball better." What was his excuse earlier in the year when Ned trotted his "Rob Deer" rear end out there every day and he was swinging at balls that were outside and balls that hit the ground before they even got to the plate? Dump the clown for a sack of peanuts and a beer.

Thank God for those BB'a in the first because since then, Byung-Hyun Seaver is really doing a number on the powerful Brewer offense. Looks like Sheets can only give up 1 run tonight.

Prince's foul ball wasn't close to being fair, but the fact that he got it to the upper deck was fun to see. Nix had a screamer down the line that almost got out but was foul, too.

Just a curious question. Is there anyone in the league who in the last 3 years has had a better K;BB ratio than Benny. He just doesnt walk people. I cant think of really anyone that is least likely to walk someone
