Haha...that play was awesome. In and out of Hardy's glove on the liner, but the runner on first started to go back and Nady stopped running out of the box -- easy DP. Everything is bouncing the right way today...hopefully they save some mojo for the Colorado series.

It's funny to me hear the singing of "Roll Out the Barrel", a song of gleeful jubilation from a crowd of people that have yet to realize that the Brewers have likely netted Sabathia.

Also, Rock just said "Small Sample"! What isn't going right today?!

The 8th inning guy is getting ready. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif

Can he hold this 5 run lead?

"[tt]According to a Major League source, the Indians and Brewers have completed a trade in which Sabathia, the reigning American League Cy Young Award winner, would be sent to Milwaukee for Double-A outfielder Matt LaPorta and two other prospects. But that rumor could not immediately be confirmed."

Watching this broadcast right now is the definition of "dramatic irony"

It's like a great, real-world Shakespearian twist to this game. Hearing them talk about the pitching, our "ace" Ben Sheets... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

"Dramatic irony is when the words and actions of the characters of a work of literature have a different meaning for the reader than they do for the characters. This is the result of the reader having a greater knowledge than the characters themselves"
