Who can we get to pitch the 8th

This has to be addressed, Mota can't be relied to pitch in any big situations so what can the Brewers do. What closers are available? (move Torres back to the 8th) or what setup guys are available. Cubs lose Cardinals getting killed, I'm sick!!!!

My first choice would be to call up Pena and see what he can do, he's been lights out in Save situations in Nashville, he just hasn't pitched with the same "vigor" when they are just getting him innings. Stan Kyles (Nashville's pitching coach) addressed him in one of the Pre Game Audio interviews in the link reports last week or the week before. I'd hate to dump more prospects on a reliever when the rotation would still need to be addressed long term.

I think you see how Gagne does this month. If he keeps the ball down, he is pretty good. If not.. he is very hittable.

If he does well, yes.. I think he is our 8th inning guy. If not... you have to look elsewhere.
