What bugs me the most is getting owned (again) by ex-Brewers. Big Wes Helms had a hand in two of Florida's runs (and of course, they won by one).

Anybody see the replay of the Bell play in the 9th? I swear he was safe, I had a good view and he looked safe by a mile.

 

I was watching on TV, after seeing multiple replays I thought he beat it by maybe a quarter or eighth of a step. I think he was safe, but I personally wouldn't say by a mile.

 

It was close enough I didn't have a real problem with the out call, unlike the Timmons/Cirillo play last night. If we could hit our way out of a wet paper bag, it wouldn't have come to that anyways.

I was there last night...pretty depressing loss, as there was a good crowd (33,000 announced). I got all excited after Nix's ninth inning homer, but it ended up being meaningless. Just a really disappointing game, especially since Capuano pitched really well.

 

There's just no potency in the Brewers offense right now. None.
