I wonder if Braun will be the first player ever to strike out at the home run derby.

 

Seriously, though, it'd be fun to watch him in it. Hopefully he'd fare better than Prince did last year in San Francisco. I'm not too worried about him possibly messing up his swing, since his home run stroke seems so natural to begin with -- I don't think he'd need to modify his swing to do well.

He should do decent, watching him in BP before games a few times he puts on a show. Just launching ball after ball into the LF seats. Of course the HR derby kind of stinks because Chris Berman calls it thus ruining it by say "back, back, back, back, back, back, GOOOONNEE!" a million times.
