Gamel was the Southern League Prospect of the Day in BA's Daily Dish for the fourth consecutive day:

He was here yesterday, but his performance merits it again. Huntsville third baseman Mat Gamel (Brewers) continued to swing a red-hot bat. His double in yesterday's game (his 31st of the season) extended his current hit streak to 13 games. Impressively, it is not even his longest of the season, though, as he recorded a base knock in 16 straight games in April. The fourth round pick in 2005 added two RBI last night, and he's now hitting .382 for the season.
