Slowey really has the Brewers' number, between this game and the 8 inning, 2 ER game he pitched a couple weeks ago at Miller. The guy just doesn't walk anyone...he had 46 K's and 9 walks coming into today's game. Crazy.

While the Brewers don't really walk a lot, they do tend to go deep into counts -- they can't do that today, and everyone looks extremely uncomfortable because of that.

It's all or nothing with this team. Nobody except for Kendall concedes to shorten up with two strikes and try to put it in play somewhere much like the Twins. But that's what happens when you have this sort of lineup. Not much small ball with them.

That's what happens when Ben starts getting too careful when he realizes he's not going to get any run support. I have no idea how Delmon Young hits the Brewers so well...that wasn't even a bad pitch to Young.

How are the Brewers "supposed" to beat the Twins? We're not talking about a AAAA squad here. Their record is virtually the same as Milwaukee's, and they are a more well-rounded team offensively.

That, and their clenaup hitter doesn't just stink right now.

Ball game....thanks Brewers. Two series against the Twins and two series losses. Well played. When you lose two series to teams like the Twins, you don't deserve to be a division Champ. You beat the teams you are supposed to beat.

How are the Twins a team that the Brewers were "supposed" to beat? They're a 1.5 games out of first place in their division and came into the series with a 9 game winning streak. All things considered, I'd say the Brewers and Twins are two teams that are very similar -- hardly a team that the Brewers should just assume victory against.

It's been a disappointing series for sure, but the Brewers are still in pretty good shape as far as this road trip goes. 3-3 heading into Arizona's a bit better than a lot of us were expecting for this trip.

Umm, the Twins are 44 and 37. They're a good team, not one that the crew should be expected to roll over.

I agree with most of that. I definitely dont think we were supposed to win this series, but on paper we supposed to win when sheets in going against slowey.

What is the point in keeping Sheets in here? He's already thrown plenty of pitches, and it's not like he's dealing.

I'm wondering the same. Ned's not in a white-flag mood today?

The 2008 Minnesota Twins: I'm so sick of these guys!

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

For a more exciting offensive performance, check out Germany in the 2008 Euro final. They haven't scored yet, but they came close.

At least the Brewers have only been figuratively kicked in the groin. Germany's Klose was not as lucky.

Maybe so that the Brewers trip has been 3-3 so far, and under most circumstances that's pretty good, but I don't look at it like that. I look at it from the perspective that 2 of those losses they failed to capitalize on Cubs losses, and possibly a 3rd, pending tonight's outcome. To me it's when you lose them. That's the frustrating part to me. Hard to catch the Cubs if you don't take advantage of your opportunities when they are presented. Is there a worse team in baseball at failing to capitalize in those types of situations then the Brewers??

Ding ding ding!!! We have a winner!!! I stand by what I say, the Brewers SHOULD win series against teams like the Twins, who they are more talented than, even if most of you don't see that. Ask any baseball expert and ask them who's roster they would rather have.

What's the difference? If we lose when they win, we lose a game in the standings. No need to get worked up over 1 series in June. Its a long season. If you want to be upset at the Brewers for not winning this series, look at the bullpen Friday night. Thats the game that got away---not this one.

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people
