well, three perfect for Slowey. Luckily Sheets has got out of his two jams.

I dont think a guy on first base is really a jam. Sheets is doing what he does. He starts out pitching to contact and then he begins painting the corners and dropping his nasty curve just like we saw the past inning

It's tough to be patient when Slowey's throwing fastballs on the black for stikes on 0-2 counts. I think we get to him the 2nd time through. Sheeter looks great.

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

I'm only listening on the radio, but Jim Powell said that Slowey is throwing fastballs for strikes, so I don't blame the hitters for swinging. Powell said that Slowey has really good movement on his fastball, which is making it hard to hit.

Prince's BA is down to .272. It was up to .302 during the home stand.

Dear Brewers,

I hope you were watching the Twins hitters. They have what might be called a good plate approach. They understand that finding a way to score other than swingin for the fences is a good way to win ballgames, and it's a good way to get a lead so that maybe later you can try to go long against a guy like Sheets.

wow sheets looks ticked off at himself after giving up the first run

He's probably thinking that the way this game is going, that could be the game winner.

you're probably right. nice to see him in the dugout eating his fingernails again....lol...

Slowey definitely has something. He has great control and keeps hitters off-balance. That being said the Brewers have simply missed some fat pitches so far this game. Prince missed some right over the plate as did Hall, but other than a couple mistakes Mauer isnt moving his glove for pitches.

Way to half-ass that one, Hall.

Hopefully Slowey starts making some mistakes soon, but the Brewers always seem to struggle against sinkerballers with good control...one of the reasons I'm not exactly looking forward to playing in Arizona.
