It's amazing what the pitching staff has to do to compensate for the terrible offense. Sheets throws a two-hitter and still the Brewers barely manage to win.

 

Great outing for Sheets, but this team is really bad right now. Nice to see Jenkins have a great day.

Jenkins has his slugging percentage back over .400 for the first time since July 28th. Not coincidentally in my opinion, that was the day of the Lee trade.

 

I think he's back swinging the bat better because he's finally taken the pressure off of himself. I've always been convinced that Jenkins' troubles are self induced. It's just the way he's wired.
