I was just trying to start an IGT myself. But I was distracted by Mike Maddux's pregame comments to Jim Powell - about the bright future Derrick Turnbow has ahead of him, and what a workhorse Jose Capellan is turning out to be.

Ahem. Go Brewers.

I think Ned needs to stop beating the workhorse. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

I'd just like to point out that when Doug last faced the Nationals, on June 3 in Milwaukee, he struck out eleven, a career high. O'Connor was the starter for WSH that night too.

Sadly, Ned put in Turnbow for the 9th and he got one of those swell BS/L combinations in a 4-3 loss.

Some of the flash thingies online are too much for me to deal with for following games. But I like the running box that JS Online provides. Here's today's:

snap.stats.com/premium/sfa/stats/snap/boxscores/boxscore_260917120.asp

Play by play stuff is in the "At the park" link on that page.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

i really wanna know why David Bell is still playing when we could call up Braun and probably get the same, if not better from him. Could probably get better from Rottino, and hell could probably call up Irabaren, make him randomly play 3rd, and get better.

Edit: AFter that 4 pitch walk I found myself wondering why he'd even bother attempting to throw a strike to Fielder with the people behind him. Then I realized, he probably didn't even attempt to.
