Maybe the Brewers should pick him up for Nashville too. He can't be worse than Jeff Weaver I suppose, and I don't see Doug Melvin as the type to go on swearing a blue streak. That'd be more Yost's line, so some people might get a gleeful moment if Ned and Shawn ended up going at it sometime later in the season.

I can't believe the Player's Union is going to argue that the Astros didn't have the right to terminate his contract.

 

Chacon and Wade's stories are pretty exact opposite on who was yelling, so I'd have to guess it was both of them doing the yelling. All the same, Chacon's comments about only regretting that they didn't leave him alone, doesn't earn him any further respect. He doesn't regret that he choked his GM, only that the GM didn't leave him alone. Classy.
