Since I've been around in 2k3 or 2k4, whenever it was, there's been multiple people banned with over 1000 posts.

Wasn't it Hoffy or an alterego that made the infamous Corey Hart Elbow post? That was so long ago now, Hart was in AA at the time, that Al and most every staffer were posting under different names.

I still post occasionally over there and I just had to spread the word about this post:

Okay this place is just too informative for words. I've been posting over there and there's this one guy who's obsessed with using information, research, and knowledge to prove interesting and relevant things about baseball. I don't think I even know what he's arguing about half the time. I can't remember his name, not gonna bother to look (that would involve research which frightens me), I just know he has a picture of Selig's daughter on his profile, which I guess says all you need to know.

Fixed.

Ironically, Rluz's insightful posts and cogent arguments are what actually drew me to Brewerfan (I don't post much, but I've been lurking for years). I found it refreshing to find a baseball message board filled with thoughtful discussion, civil debate, and buckets of information. I can't thank this site (and its owners) enough for the massive amount that I've learned about baseball over the past few years.

Hoffy was always a big Hart fan (in fact, it's something he would try to say that "we all" weren't in an attempt to defame us after his banning). I know that bjames I think claimed that Hart's big long foul ball in his initial call-up was going to be his most memorable moment.

Although in fairness, I had my doubts about Corey when he sputtered in AAA initially as well.

I think that might have been scoop53714.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

You're right hawing, it was scoop.

I kind of want to read that thread again... I can't believe we didn't put it in the archives! That would have fit brilliantly between the cheese sandwiches and unmitigated rage against Junior Spivey.

If the control gizmos read correctly, H0FFY had 1,591 Brewerfan posts and 2,186 total ezBoard posts.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

It was something about how the poster (scoop) found a flaw in Hart's swing/Stance. It had something to do with Hart's elbow either pointing out or down. Scoop said it was a simple fix but that Corey would never materialize as a prospect if he didnt change it.

Someone over there said Ben Hendrickson's dad posted here? Please tell me I can see that somewhere.

I'm not sure if he ever posted, but he was a regular in the chat room, and had a habit of sending nasty PM's to players.

Here's a link to an article about it.

EDIT: I take that back, he posted a message where he was trying to hock all of his Brewers swag.

Yeah he said Hart would never develop any power because his elbow pointed down at the ground and not back toward the backstop. Scoop also was prone to vehemently defending the band Green Day.

I believe scoop was also the same person who used to claim they were a college baseball player, and thus knew more then anyone on this board. After a little research it was discovered that he did not play college baseball, and in fact was just a student manager.

Actually, that was Bjames.

Although Scoop did say that if he hit the cages he could probably still rip.

I'm assuming you meant nasty PMs to the members here. If he were sending PMs to the players that would be a new level of absurdity.
