What a bunch of crap by Ned. He said Dillard didn't get sent down for his performance yesterday, they just wanted another lefty in the pen. Well if they wanted another lefty in the pen then why didn't they send Dillard down before the Twins series? They have the same amount of left handed starters and their two best hitters are left handed.

Freddie Bynum and Luke Scott put more fear in our hearts than Morneau and Mauer do.

Honestly, Stetter got the same kind of treatment after a couple wild outings, so I'd imagine Dillard will be back up at some point this season. His last two outings have been pretty brutal, though.

Either I am missing something here, or Bill just said something stupid.

They said Suppan has given up 9 earned runs in the first inning in 15 starts, and that was "not bad". 9 runs in 15 innings ... that is not "not bad". That is just bad. lol

Let's see how FSN sugarcoats this

That's going to go as an unearned run. The inning should be over right now.

Guess what Bill? If Gazpacho would've set his feet and not made that awkward ass throw, the inning would be over right now.

I guess Suppan was due for a clunker at home, but it sucks being singled to death in the first inning. Hopefully the Brewers can come back in the bottom half of the inning and at least get one run back early. Knowing this team's patience, though, I have a bad feeling that Liz -- despite all his control issues -- will end up cruising through the first on 7 pitches because everyone's going to step into the box trying to hit a home run to close the gap. Please show some patience at the plate, guys.

I realize Hernandez is a pretty bad defensive catcher, but let's try to avoid running your way out of rallies, guys. With Branyan up and only 1 out, you have to keep the sac fly possibility open by not getting picked off (even though Russ struck out). Oh well...at least they got 2 of them back. Keep chipping away and they'll be fine.

It's painful to watch Suppan pitch tonight...he can't hit the strike zone, and when he does, he's getting hit hard. 7 hits in 1.2 innings is crazy, and that's not even counting his 2 or 3 walks. Looks like DiFelice is going to get a lot of innings tonight.
