USB/mini-SD of games

I am not sure if anybody else participates, but MLB has something called Fans At Bat. They basically send you an E-mail with a link to a short survey about every other month.

 

Anyway, The most recent one was about selling USB or Mini SD cards with the game you just attended on them. They were talking about the All-Star game and HR derby specifically, but I think that would be a pretty cool idea if they would do it for any game.

The entire game. I would guess something like what you would get with an archived game on MLB TV.

That would be cool. I wish I had some of the Orioles games I went to in the 1970s....

There are some concerts that have this already, where you can buy a recording of the show you just watched as you are hitting the exits.

That was mentioned the survey. I think that is also a cool idea.

Guy I love to see, Bob Schneider, records every one of his shows and sells the CD's right after, for $15.

Great idea for concerts (which aren't televised). Just an OK idea for MLB since attendees can DVR/VCR/DVD-R/Media Center PC the game for pennies vs. many dollars. I don't see MLB giving these things away. They'll take your throwing arm on the way out if they can. What would they charge? $25? No thank you.

If I'm going to be shelling out money, they'd better find a way to give me something I can watch on my 52" LCD TV at home.

 

Wait... that is what my DVR is for.
