Bad vibes in the clubhouse?

AJAY
I was. I wasn't calling you a moron or a blowhard.

Brian the Automator rules with an ironfist, but he doesn't read the whole thread.

I PM'd you and took back the strike ... but if you feel that you can sit and taunt the moderators and get all hotheaded with other users, then you've got the wrong message board.

Man, this has to be the most sensitive message board I've ever been on. Maybe that's a good thing as I'm watching other message boards flame out.

Rickie's callup, Prince's callup, and a fair number of other call-ups... I do recall scooping some of the other outlet on a few trades as well (acquisition of Ginter is one I can think of off the top of my head). Although this is definitely a fan-driven site, we have very good relationships with the minor league clubs, and family members of players who frequently pass information along to us.

I don't claim that we scoop the other outlets more often than not, but to say that we don't pass along insider information is far from correct.

I'm pretty sure BF.net had news of the Carlos Lee trade before it was elsewhere as well. I'll admit I come here first for info on anything Brewers related... This site is probably the best (and worst, only cuz I'm practically addicted to it) site on the internet for me... I love it!

Heh. Sounds like another example of a writer using "grit" and "chemistry" to decide who is going to win.

It's all about runs scored and runs prevented. The rest is for the clueless like Tony W who tell folks who won.

Other than the fact I did not say what an idiot Dick Justice is, I'm pretty proud of how this turned out.

I wonder why the newspaper business is in such sad shape...hmmm.

Al, just good evidence that you shouldn't have held back -- say it loud & proud: "Justice is an idiot!" http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Wait... are you trying to say that writing a story to say something sensationalistic is poor journalism!?
