Brewers Classic: 1982 ALCS, Game 4

hawing

I don't care if the broadcast ended 90 minutes ago. The game shown tonight was Mark Brouhard's moment in the sun.

Or it would have been, had it not been raining off and on the whole time. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Love ya, Bro! (by the way, he's going to be 51 in May)

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Such simpler times back then! The old 5 game ALCS, made me think of friends that had the" windbreakers with batting gloves "look, boomboxes as big as dressers that chewed thru 36 batteries just to listen to your Metal Health tape 2 times...feathered hair and hondas.

I just saw a recording of the game. When was the last time you saw a Brewer game on TV where the network actually bothered to bring a blimp and show aerial shots of our ballpark? It was just really cool seeing those amazing aerial shots of County Stadium.

It was also another reminder of how long it has been since we have played in a really big game in front of a national audience.

Marshall Edwards...where are they now?

Good question, appearantly no one knows. For the '82 reunion five years ago the Mileaukee Journal Sentinel listed Marshall Edwards as "whereabouts unknown".
