I know it's just spring training, and I shouldn't be putting any stock into it, but Capellan is getting shelled and it's starting to worry me.

Today was the third of three spring training games we attended, and Capellan performed poorly in two of them. I may just have my new target of "hawing closer rage" for 2007. If you see me pacing the concourses at MP late in a game, it just might mean that Jose has taken the mound.

 

It was pretty cool to see Gallardo, at least for the first inning of his stint.

 

I'd actually managed to forget that Sammy Sosa was on the scene...until he was introduced in the lineup today. Before the afternoon ended, I remembered how much I dislike him.

 

Still, to end on a happier note, the Brewers had a .667 winning percentage in games we attended this spring. May they be as successful in regular season games we attend in 2007.

 

Edit: I forgot to mention the Corey Koskie sighting. Obviously it doesn't mean he can play anytime soon, but it was nice to see him suited up and hanging around the dugout.
