Latest Draft Tidbits...Tampa will take Beckham at #1

I want Brett Wallace really bad. Granted I'm a little bias being a HUGE ASU fan, but I've watched this kid for 4 years and he is really really good. Might not look like the best athlete nor is the quickest, but he will surprise a lot of people with how good of a hitter he is. I would compare his bat to braunesque (not so much as much power, but rakes) and his speed of someone like JJ, but a better baserunner. I like Ike Davis a lot and I know a few people who know him and say he is a great guy, but I can't see him in the Brewers plans. Later on down the line I'd like to see the Crew take Petey Parramore. Guy can hit and catch. Granted thats all bias from an ASU fan, but i watch these guys a lot and know what they are made of.

Perry's FB is straight and hittable despite the impressive velocity. He's better off as a projected closer with arguably the best fastball in the draft.

LetsGoBrewCrew, check out my interview with Wallace over at PGCrosschecker:

While the team doesn't need Wallace, he's going to keep on hitting as a pro.

For Mac/Safari users out there...

Has anyone had problems with the MLB.com pages? Each time I try to load a page I get sent to a "sorry, but this page no longer exists screen." It's fine in IE.

If you are experiencing this problem, any suggestions on how to correct it?

Man I woulda paid a million bucks to talk to Brett. Ok, not really, but still. He seems like a real cool guy. Great interview! Thanks! I'm going to Omaha next weekend->week for the CWS. I'm praying ASU will be there and maybe snag a convo and autograph from Wallace. They have Fresno State in the Super Regional, so it shouldn't be too difficult, but take nothing for granted. Wallace will be a good fit in StL as much as I hate to give StL credit. Davis will eventually replace Delgado for NYM (or at least given a shot to) and Petey will do well in Oakland with Weeks. How sweet would it be to see a Miami ASU CWS Final knowing those two will be on the same team as early as a few weeks from now and have to beat each other for the championship.
