Nate,

Zimmerman over David Wright? You already have Rauch on the team to fulfil your Nationals quota.

Wright leads Zimmerman in every statistical category, and is blowing him out in most. The more and more I look at third base stats the more and more I feel Aramis Ramirez should be on the team.

Any closer over Billy Wagner? He has a .39 ERA this season and a 28k to 4bb ratio while only giving up 14 hits. His .78 whip is the best out of any closer in the league.

I filled it out quickly and I thought I missed the Nationals one player. Not really looking over what I had on there and I noticed I didn't have enough players and threw in Zimmerman at 3B since he was the first name that popped into my head. Wright is probably the right (no pun intended) choice to put into the 3B slot as a reserve.

Did I miss something? Are Pirates outfielders really going to win the election? Last I checked, Soriano and Fukudome were the leaders and with the Japanese vote coming online, Fukudome is a shoo-in to start.

Yeah, McLouth has done a great job thus far and should make the team but not as a starter. Same with Bay and Nady, I guess. It's just not going to happen. Are the Pirates really promoting getting those three elected as starters or is this just people being cute with this thread?

I'm not trying to mock anybody here--asking serious questions.

As said above, this is a thread of who should be in the ASG, not who will be.
