06/01/08 Astros (Chacon) at Brewers (Bush): 1:05 PM CDT

9 of the 13 games since Boston, the Brewers have held the opponents to 3 or less runs. 8 of them were 2 or less runs. 4 were 1 run, and 1 shutout. the other 4 games were 8(twice), 7, and 5. A pretty good run by the pitching. The bullpen sure looks good when it is rested. Atlanta and Houston sure aren't push overs on offense either. Great job Brewers!

Ryan Braun laughs at the notion of a bobblehead curse. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

This game was a blast to be at. It had all the elements of a letdown game - big crowd, popular bobble, Dave Bush backed up by a JV/forfeit lineup, and the sweep attempt. Yet it all worked out, and was a laugher to boot. Fans started the wave, but during the blowout part, which was almost acceptable. Even the weather was great.

As I watched Ryan's home run trot today, it occurred to me that maybe Ryan makes the difference.

Anyway - 7-3 on the hawing ticket now. I won't complain about that.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Got to agree with everyone on what a great day it was. We took a foreign exchange student from Slovakia with us today for her first baseball experience. My wife spent most of the game explaining the rules to her. Got to admit it made us look at the superstitions we follow when we are at the park. Only problem now is we have to figure out how to keep her going to the games when she returns to her home land next week since she is now our good luck charm. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

This was an awesome game to attend. Great atmosphere and weather, great result on the field. Can't ask for much more than that!

wow the bats finally show up and all we managed was a 4 page threadhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I'm pleased that i went to all 3 games. Will also be there tonight and tomorrow, so hopefully i'll see more of the same.

Also, lets hope that the Cubs struggle away from the friendly confines

Go Brew!

This is one of those lineups that will either surprise the hell out of me and score ~12 runs, or it will be stifled and get ~2-3 hits.

Good Call, in a way I wish we scored 2 with Kapler, Dillion, and Counsell struggling just to prove Ned a point! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Because now Ned is gonna think its a good idea to throw out the "B" team more.
