You won't be getting a Gallardo bobblehead tomorrow

I didn't see a topic for this and thought it was pretty important. I know people were planning on going. Apparently the shipment of the Gallardo bobbleheads to the Snappers has been delayed, and they won't have them tomorrow.

 

Instead the first 500 will get a voucher which they must exchange for a bobblehead at a later date. Kind of a downer. I made plans for this trip a while ago.

ya thanks burniebrewer for the heads up. i had already sold one, so hopefully the buyer will understand the short delay. i was able to cancel my second auction just in time. thanks a bunch.

The only thing that bothers me is the notice. They announced this Friday evening. They had to see this coming. I mean, you'd think they would get the bobbles a bit in advance, but then again they are just an A-level operation. It stinks because I don't really know when I'll be in Beloit again. I had to make plans to make it there tomorrow.

that is a little harsh, no reason to dis beloit, just tell them that you can't make it back, they might be able to ship it...it's not like the sky is falling or anything...

Not really a dis, they are a single A level baseball club, they might not be able to have things done before the season like the majors.

oldschoolsnapper- i live in beloit, if you are really hurtin to get back here to pick up the bobble lmk and i will pick it up for you and ship if you pay for shipping.

 

no reason to get down on the team, they do their best, but sometimes things beyond their control happens. i am guessing they were working on getting the bobbles in and thought that they may get here at the last minute. when that didn`t happen they went to plan B.

I wasn't ripping on Beloit. I was sincere when I said they are just an A level club. They don't have the same resources the Brewers would.
