Only a 2:15 game? I wonder if the fans in attendance got their money's worth?

For the Brewer Killer thread: Brady Clark

I had to laugh at CBS's gamecast: "Temp 59 F. Pleasantly cool."

Haha no casey, didnt take a helicopter back. We arrived late so we parked in Mitchell Blvd Park. It was about a 2 mile walk from the stadium but we avoided traffic. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

haven't read everything just wanted to post my thoughts.

Got to listen only to the bottom of the 9th inning (saw most of the rest on gamecast) but I got chills hearing the crowd roar for the entire final AB. Can't wait to get down to Miller Park for my first game this season in mid-May.

Great to see Sheets interviewed on baseball tonight and for the Brewers to basically lead off an ESPN program. I wish Sheets would learn how to give an interview though http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Near perfect game today for the Brew Crew. If everyone is contributing on this offense and we get plays like we did from Hall and Hardy, this could be a special team.

I have to remind myself that it's just 1 out of 162. Go Brewers!

just got back from my first ever opening day, here are some thoughts:

1. it is 1 game out of a season

2. Bill Hall is still the man

3. Sheets may finally be healthy

4. People drink to much

5. The guy that wighed 350+ lbs. in the Terrace Level that was dancing around and blocking everyone's view of the game should have been tossed and it is a shame how "bandwagon" like fans were today. But it was opening day, so I guess I have to accept that.

Don't worry, BHF. It was opening day, you will see people like that. That's why I don't go to OD anymore.

Betcha that's the only game he attends this year.

Apparently Jeff Suppan taught Ben Sheets how to be a winner. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif haha.

Great way to start the season! I am excited to get home and catch the game on my Tivo. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif

Jimbo it was sick...

Someone was complaining about it and then some drunk guy started yelling at the one who was complaining. The guy that was complaing was probably around 60 years old and he just wanted to enjoy the game, I wish I could have talked to him, he probably had some good stories to tell. Anyway the drunk was saying that if he was skinny no one would be complaining. Absolutly I would, if you know the Terrace resv. the little landings that people take pics on and call their freinds, ya this guy was blocking people from getting to their seats, he was blocking their views, it was awful. And the worst thing about it is that the Usher just looked at him and did nothing.

I was in 425, and this idiot was in probably 419-420, it was awful...

HOLY SHEETS !!

Just got home from the game. . .

There is probably nothing I can say about the game that hasn't already been said. I'll just say that besides the awesome outcome on the field, the funniest thing was seeing a super-sized obese drunk guy take off his shirt and try to start the wave.

I wish a had a video camera.

The last 5 or 6 posts are the reasons why 2003 was the first and only Opening Day I will ever go to. WAY too many drunks to enjoy the game and they all have 25 other drunk friends who think anything they do is awesome, no matter who it offends or disgusts.

One of the best Brewers games in many a year. They just could not hit Sheets. Hardy looks like he wants to prove his worth. Jeff gets a clutch, and then their is Bill Hall (who did not pitch).

It was a thrilliing moment when Sheets got the standing O in his last at bat. You don't see that too often.

I cannot explain how, but one sensed different..."karma"...from this team. Just, well, different..

Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come.

Opening Day is always amateur hour (like the bleachers at Wrigley). I went twice - probably will never go again unless I get really, really good seats.
