Last one was Don August in 1989, but he lost 2-1 and only went 8.

Well, I started from the beginning and found that Marty Pattin had a complete game on Opening Day, 1971.

 

Because that answers the question, I didn't go any further. I'm sure there've been a few complete games. Remember, those were much more routine a couple decades ago.

I believe they said Don August was the last one to do it. It was in the late 80's I believe. They lost the game. The last one to have a CG and win was in the 70's.

Besides Pattin, Caldwell and August there was Jim Slaton in 1976 - the only shutout.
