6-run lead (hopefully more) going into the 9th.

 

Turnbow, or not Turnbow?

(Too early in the year for Sheets to extend the pitch count, IMO.)

 

Edit: Looks like it's going to be Sheets to start the inning. Can't complain too much.

What I love is that if one of our other starters pitches this way in their season debut, it's because he was "on", and had a lucky game, and we know not to expect it every time out.

 

When Big Ben has this kind of game, it's because HE'S THIS GOOD.

I think its a bad decision to let Sheeter go the distance his first game back (just wanted to be the first person to disagree with Yost this year)
When a guy has an easy day, it's generally safe to pad the prescribed pitch count.

 

Has Ben pitched from the stretch at all?

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
