Positive thinking, positive thinking...

"You gotta harness in the good energy, block out the bad. Harness energy, block bad. Feel the flow, (Brewers). Feel it. It's circular. It's like a carousel. You pay the quarter, you get on the horse. It goes up and down and around. Circular. Circle. With the music. The flow... all good things."

Soup is going to pitch well tonight and the Crew is going to get the timely hitting they didn't last night.

2B Rickie Weeks
CF Mike Cameron
LF Ryan Braun
1B Prince Fielder
RF Corey Hart
SS J.J. Hardy
3B Bill Hall
RHP Jeff Suppan
C Jason Kendall

Still no word on the corresponding player move to make room on the roster for reliever Tim Dillard, called up earlier today from Class AAA Nashville.

Ben Sheets is like the lobster at a high-class 5-star restaurant. Jeff Suppan is like the bad shrimp at Red Lobster that gives you food poisoning and makes you quesy for weeks.

i guess if you look at it that way then Gagne would be movie theater popcorn: overpriced and it's never there for you at the end of the show when you really need it.

and Yost would be the McRib: it's not very good but somehow seems to come back every single year.

I laughed SO MUCH at both of those. Awesome stuff! And extremely spot on!

According to DirecTV's guide feature, we get 0 HD games this weekend. Meanwhile, I'm flipping channels and the Kitchener-Belleville minor league hockey game that is on the NHL network is not only HD, it's better looking HD than any FSN Brewer telecast ever is.

There is something basically wrong with any world in which these two statements are true.

Is it just me or is the camera on the outfield obnoxiously high?

yes and i think the shot of that last Nats out was really high, too? annoying. baseball tv production seems to have taken a step back this year. if anyone out there is studying tv production there should be a job for you immediately after you graduate.

They just showed a shot of where BA and Rock are, and the camera is actually positioned between them right in the booth, which would explain the strangely high angle. Also, it looks like it has to be controlled remotely, which is why the movement seems different.

It's almost making me motion sick.
