By the way, the reason I haven't had full game threads in a while is because I got a new laptop anddon't have the program that I used to compile the stats with; not compatible with vista. I will try to figure something out in the mean time; might have to go back to the old method that took forever, we will see.

JJ Hardy has an OPS of 3.000 against Snell! (Don't look at the sample size)

Braun and Fielder rack pretty well again him as well (don't look at the sample size)

So.. Sheeters, you made my birthday sad by losing. I was drunk enough to not remember most of it. But lets win us a game.

Sheets, the team from a confidence standpoint needs you to have an "Ace-type" performance tonight.

Yes, the Crew needs that from him most every night he pitches, but especially tonight.

the program that I used to compile the stats with; not compatible with vista.

And what stinks is by the time everyone finds/updates their programs to work with Vista, they will probably come out with a new OS that nothing will be compatable with again. Thank you Microsoft, but I'll stick with XP for as long as I can hold out.

Am I wrong to already be thinking about the sweep? Desperate times call for desperate measures!

Woah, woah, this coming from the guy who says you should never really assume a sweep, no matter how good or bad the teams are? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

(I know that's not what you're saying http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Line-ups from JSOnline....

No Hall at 3rd. Some interesting tidbits on that, Gagne, and Weaver from TH as well...

2B Rickie Weeks

CF Mike Cameron

LF Ryan Braun

1B Prince Fielder

RF Corey Hart

SS J.J. Hardy

3B Craig Counsell

RHP Ben Sheets

C Jason Kendall

Linkage

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

The wind seems to be acting funny today-Cameron's ball looked like it should easily have been a double but it just hung up forever.

EDIT:Whoever would sit in those jutting out seats along the rf line take their lives into their hands

Brian Anderson: "Last night Pirates saw an average of 10 pitches per at bat." He threw 116 pitches while facing 21 batters. I don't know what's more embarassing, his pronunciation of OPS or his terrible on-the-fly math skills.

Only Yost would think that he's holding someone accountable by playing Counsell

It's Tom H. that's turning it into that silliness. What does that really mean, anyway? Don't teams just play the guys they think gives them the best chance of winning?
