What about more than 36 runs would they give the tickets away for free and give you money back? lolz

Well the tickets are $26, not $36 and it says right in the linked article that if they score 26, it's free.

the brewers have a really solid marketing department. another example from wednesday night.

 

about the 6th inning a group of 10 college-aged students stumbled into the game. after listening to their conversation, they were from marquette and there were free tickets being given away on campus. these were pretty solid seats...loge infield.

 

the brewers know that a wednesday night in may will be a tough draw, so they give away tickets, likely hoping to make some revenue in concessions. within the first inning they were in the game, this group spent easily $100 on beer and food.

They did the same thing at UWM a couple times last month. I was given 300 tickets to hand out to students, and I believe the Student Association had a few thousand tickets, all handed down from the Athletics department.

The marketing/PR department has been beyond stellar in terms of promotion over the past 3 years - especially in comparison to how things were before that. Think of some of the big draw things they've done over that past few years

I don't know if people got the email. But the offer was extended to the 28th. So there might be cheap tickets available still.
