This one makes me nervous. A Sinkerball pitcher and a struggling Brewer who has a lot of problems going deep into games. I expect Riske to eat up at least 2 innings tonight. Comes on Parra, prove me wrong.

I will be in attendance for the 2nd time this year. I went on Saturday as well, I hope Gagne is not available for tonights game.

I got a good feeling about tonight. Parra has #2 pitcher written all over him, he just needs to command his pitches a little better. I hope Lowe' sinker is a little high tonight, I wan't some fireworks

good news for the brewers as they are 5-0 when i'm in attendance and I'll be 4 rows behind the plate to make sure that they are feeling my mojo.

With CV having a decent outing yesterday, it would be nice to get Parra back in a groove as well. the seemingly punchless dodgers are as a good a team to start against as any.

Lets go Crew!

Parra goes 5 scoreless, gives up 2 in the 6th, Yost chats with him, he gives up 3 more and exits

Shouse finishes off the inning

Riskie pitches 7th and 8th, giving up 1 run

Yost brings in Gagne, because he said he was available and Yost wants to make a point to the fans

Gagne blows the save

..

to be continued

Rocking the Blue Koolaid again today. I forgot how good the stuff is!

Two days of drinking it - two Brewer wins. It is OBVIOUSLY why they are winning!

So I brought myself a bottle of blue Koolaid to work - extra Mo-Jo for the sinker baller.

A few notes for the Brewer players (if they read this)

Rickie: Do NOT keep the bat on your shoulder if a pitch is close and you have 2 strikes. You HAVE to get on base for this team to succeed....DO IT!!

Ryan Braun (AKA God): Do what you do. You are a beast and are crushing the ball.

Prince: The plate approach is getting better. Keep it up!

Bill Hall, JJ: Loving the approach of driving the ball to the opposite field. If you keep that up the reason of the season, we're going to go far.

Mr. Grit (JK): Call a great game for Manny.

Manny: Make your pitches where the grit man calls them.

Ned: GAGNE IS NOT AVAILABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All these things will lead to Brewer victory.

How big of a start is this for Parra? I hope he does well, but I have a feeling one of the three (Parra/CV/Bush) is going to be moved out of the rotation/demoted. A lot is riding on these next few games in terms of production. I'm thinking Manny has a good game tonight -- 7 innings, 2 ER, and he'll collect a RBI.

I would not be shocked to see Gagne today. He has pitched 3 IP in 2 days. They threw CoCo like 6 games in a row last year. Besides they can easily give him a day off tomorrow on get a way day. I would be thrilled to see Gagne today, it means we have the lead.

New line- up with Rickie out:

CF Mike Cameron

SS JJ Hardy

LF Ryan Braun

1B Prince Fielder

RF Corey Hart

3B Bill Hall

2B Craig Counsell

P Manny Parra

C Jason Kendall

Not sure that I like it, but if you like Hart in the 5 spot (I do) who else do you bat lead off? Kendall?

It's not as big as you suggest JJ. Parra retired the last 9 hitters he faced last Friday. The braintrust met Monday and decided to make no changes in rotation. Since then both Bush and Villanueva have recorded quality starts and wins. I don't think any changes will be even considered again until they return from the next road trip. Besides the options are not all that great.

I say no Gagne today either. If you put him out there, there is a higher chance he won't succeed. He needs a day of rest. I just worry if they don't go to him he might get down on himself again. Positive thoughts only!
