Ok, so out of curiosity, what kind of stuff does DiFiliece have? How come he hasn't broken through to the bigs yet? I am intrigued by the stats but does he have a plus fastball or something? Wicked breaking stuff? A pinpoint off-spead pitch????
Difilice added a cut fastball at the beginning of last year, and its his main pitch now. It has completely changed his career. He likely would have gotten a call up last September, but an injury ruined that.

Hey, I'm not opposed to giving a guy a shot. Sometimes you catch lightning in a bottle ala Pods or Clark. If he works out for a year great! We'll worry about next year, next year.
