I have to say that Sheets has not had the best of luck against the Cards. If the Brewers don't beat the holy hell out of Looper I will be sick. This game is so in favor of the Crew we may lose. Yep, I'm cynical. GO BREWERS!

His reaction after the second Prince homer....

Looper's been pretty good this year. 2.08 ERA, WHIP of 1.08. That being said, his last start was against the Pirates( 2 Hits in 7IP), when he faced the Mets, he gave up 8 hits, 2 ERs thru 6. I think we can get to him, with the way the crew is hitting the ball.

Most notable stat that I picked out of that...

5-0 when leading after the 7th inning.

That's the first thing that I noticed too. Says something about the Wise/Turnbow/Cordero trifecta. Let's get it to the 7th and @#%$ the Cards.

I noticed the undefeated record after 7 innings first, too, but this was the second thing that popped out at me:

Check the Board

The Brewers have used 8 different start-

ing lineups over their first 10 games of

the season, including a different lineup

in each of the last 5 contests.

And Sheets better get the win because I missed a start yesterday in fantasy, and I'm tied in Ws and down by one in K's. He doesn't have any pitchers going, just one reliever, IIRC. Other pitchers got PPDed. If I wouldn't have missed that start I'd be up in those two categories right now, Sheets has to come through for me...

Every time I see Braden Looper's name I can't help but think of that scene in Caddyshack:

Carl: So I hook on as a looper over in the Himalayas

Angie: A Looper?

Carl: Yeah, a looper....jock....caddy....so I tell 'em I'm a pro jock....

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

God, these Brewers Live pre-game shows suck. What possessed them to do one every telecast? Ann Carroll is terrible, and all they do is show the same pre-taped interviews over and over. The Suppan one I must have seen two or three times already, and now they're showing the same Yost interview they showed Friday night. Why so little live footage on a pre-game show?
