Halls error has nothing to do with a 5 run inning that cost us the game. Are we looking for beauty points and only losing by 3 runs?

I'd much rather have a three run lead to chip into than a four run lead. From a player's perspective, I think there's some psychological component of the game that worsens with every run you have to make up.

[ People will bag on him and then jump back aboard when he does something good. ]

Or, many of us look at each call in isolation and weigh in on it.

[ Its what we got so we need to live with it. I try to be a fan and look at things realistically. Some just love, then hate, and then love again. Just cheer for the brewers and take it easy on the blood pressure. ]

This is not going to be simply a Brewers lovefest site. Quite frankly, I'm getting a little fed up of you telling everyone how they're not fans because they disagree.

Guess my only problem is bringing Aquino in.

Opp BA- .167 w/bases empty

Opp BA- .429 w/runners on

If you know you don't need your set-up man to set-up, bring him in in atight situation. Turnbow would make Phillips look silly, the way he's been pitching.

[ I agree. Why didn't he leave Shouse in or bring in Tbow for the final out? Terrible decision by Yost and he deserves the blame for losing this game. ]

I wouldn't have left Shouse in against the lefty, nor would I have forced Turnbow to throw to 4 batters... but I would have gone and warmed up Dessens when it was obvious Aquino was ineffective.

So outside of Turnbow, Cordero, Wise, and Shouse, our bullpen is very vulnerable. Hopefully the bullpen gets all of the runs out of their system and they go for a long while before they allow another one.

Brian I am not telling anybody anything. They disagree about something and are totally off base. Yost put in a guy to get one out and he didnt get the job done. Yelliong at yost is not right at all. I simply pointed it out. If you disagree with me or anyone else does, fine, but you are wrong.

Bill Hall, again, looking good in CF.

I mean, honestly, how long will management allow this to happen before they realize this could really cost us games this year? In all seriousness, he is a huge liability out there in CF (I hold my breath every time a ball is hit in his direction).

He was out of options and was trying to get to bow in the 8th. Get off the bridge and blame aquino for not getting an out.

This is exactly the situation that shows why slotting relievers is so stupid. You bring in Turnbow NOW, and then let Aquino pitch the 8th with nobody on. Or heck, even Cordero-Aquino-Turnbow. Use the best pitchers in the biggest situation.

And Dessens is officially garbage too. Which explains why he pitches in garbage time.
