Where are the pitchers?

When will Rogers and Jeffress be back? Why don't I see Braddock's name after his couple of appearances? Why isn't Roque Mercedes K'ing anyone? I feel like I'm stuck watching Jeff Weaver's stats and no one else of interest. Derek Miller...eh. Where are all the top pitchers? Am I missing anyone with good stuff and potential? Can't wait for the June draft.

You probably need to look at A and A+ to find the most potentially "dynamic" pitchers in the system. Periard, Hand, Butler, Braddock, Anundsen, Bryson, Rivas, and Tyson among others. I know that there's some that I've forgotten too.

Aside from DiFelice in Nashville, I suppose you could also track Brae Wright and David Miller. Naverson is worth keeping tabs on for the season too.

Also, if you haven't read it yet, the April "Farm Hops" provides excellent information on the front page.

So far this season that not a days goes by without my finding someone pitching that's worth following - often at multiple levels of the farm system.

Braddock pitched on May 3rd, he just had a rougher outing. I think Brevard County has some nice pitching prospects with Braddock, Butler (who has pitched well since the trade), Periard, and Hand all as starters. They also have Mike Jones trying to restart his career. Along with that they have one of our better relief prospects in Omar Aguilar.

I think the Power have some nice prospects who just are struggling a little right now. Bryson has struck out 31 in 20 innings. They have other guys to watch like Tyson, Seidel, Anundson, and Mercedes.

The Sounds have some older guys who are pitching well so far like Hammond, Miller, and Narron. They also have Brae Wright who is a lefty like the other three. None of those guys wow me but they are guys to keep tabs on because they are lefties who are starting to put it together.

The Brewers do not have a Yo right now in my mind, and I am excited for Jeffress and Rogers (yeah I still believe he can make it). The loss of Inman and Garrison hurt but I think there are guys who are going to surface as solid prospects. My best bet after Jeffress would be Braddock and Bryson. The minor leagues pitching prospects are not nearly on the level as our hitting prospects but we do have some nice arms and this draft should really reload the system

While it is true there is no top-of-the-rotation prospect anywhere near ready for Milwaukee, there are several guys that project as 4/5 type starters and several reliever prospects, including at least a couple of strong closer prospects. I'd hope to get a legitimate top of the rotation prospect or two in the draft.
